NEWS
All Stars Grow Older

The Emmy Award winning comedy series All Stars is to be continued.

Many countries such as Spain, Germany, and England embraced this story about a football team: a diverse collection of guys from every walk of life who are trying to cope with their every-day challenges. Now, 14 years later, we revisit the original team, with the Old Stars Feature Film.

After all these years the serie is as popular as ever in the Netherlands. It will premiere in Italy on Italia 1 this autumn, featuring the cast of the Academy Award winning Italian Movie Mediterraneo. With more European countries to follow we can safely say that this football team still captivates new audiences.

Small Talk

Schwartzkopff - TV Productions from Hamburg recently optioned the entertainment format Small Talk(original Dutch title Praatjesmakers) for German speaking Europe. In Small Talk , youngsters reveal their own private way of looking at the adult world.

It has been a success on Dutch Channel 1 ever since it launched in 2003. An enthusiastic host asks children (ages 4 to 7) a range of thought-provoking questions: ‘What kind of work does the King do?' or, ‘Where exactly does God live?' The viewers can share in the children's often surprising outlook on life and will experience many a chuckle and sometimes a touching moment. The audience will certainly recognize themselves in the spontaneous - and above all, honest - things kids have to say about what adults are all about.

Banff International Pilots Competition

Last newsletter we updated you on our cooperation with Banff and TV Lab. We would like to remind you that the early bird deadline for entering your pilots is March 5th.

The Banff International Pilots Competition and Awards honours the raw talent and creativity that goes into the creation of the pilot. Accepting submissions from both "virgin" producers who have never had a show or program broadcast, as well as "veteran" producers with at least one show broadcast on cable, satellite, Internet or in full production - we want to see your new ideas at Banff.
