The
sensitive subject matter of this controversial reality program is
definitely not keeping Dutch viewers away! Transmitted on NED3 by KRO,
the second season is already outperforming the channel average. The
first episode saw a substantial 640,000 viewers tuning, scoring a 9.1
market share compared to the 8.7% channel average. This was exceeded in
the second episode, with 714,000 viewers and a market share of 10.1%
against a 5.7% channel average. Owned and produced by Skyhigh TV, the
program helps young gay men and women come out of the closet. On each
episode, the host assists one individual with a plan on how to reveal
their sexuality to the most important people in their lives. Coming Out is currently under option in Germany and Norway.
