The nominations for the first International Emmy Kids Awards were announced at Mipcom last week by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Absolutely Independent is proud to announce that Coming Out is one of the nominees in the category Kids: Factual. The winner will be announced at the inaugural International Emmy Kids Awards scheduled to take place February 8, 2013 in New York City.

In Coming Out, we follow young men and women who are about to tell their mothers and fathers, brothers or sisters, coaches, friends and colleagues that they’re gay. In The Netherlands the third season of Coming Out is in production and will be aired in January 2013. The Belgian version will launch the end of 2012
