Golden Oldie format “Flying Start” has been brought back to life by Estonian Kanal 2. The channel commissioned 12 new episodes for Spring 2010. With 2 episodes already aired, the format kicked off successfully - and won the highest rating in their time slots with both general audiences as well as the 18-49 demographic. Flying Start airs on Thursdays at 8pm. The format has already been produced in more than 13 territories. Contact your sales manager for availability in your country.

The Dutch Government has honored Absolutely Independent with an invitation to join a business delegation to FICCI in India. The event will take place in March. We are pleased with this invitation, especially because India is among our focus territories for 2010. We believe that selected Absolutely formats will succeed in India, despite the country’s focus on fiction to-date. Storytelling factual entertainment is a natural next step in programming for the broadcasters. We look forward to the adventure! The Singing Office is still going strong! Hungary is picking up The Singing Office, and Belarus’ national channel 2 is going for their 4th (out of 5 total) season. In Belarus, the format has been on the Top 5 every week since its start in 2007. The show, created by Dutch public broadcaster NCRV, was launched by Absolutely Independent in more than 20 countries worldwide, bringing co-workers together in a super-entertaining way.
