Last weekend marked the launch of a new series of Behind The Front Door on Dutch Television. Already in its 5th season, the first episode got off to a strong start and made it into the daily top 25. It airs in a key 7:30 pm Saturday evening timeslot on Nederland 2.

On Behind The Front Door, every front door has its own story but most people know very little about their neighbors. The program visits random streets in neighborhoods throughout the country.  Residents are shown a photo of a neighbor and asked if they know anything about that person. By getting a glimpse behind a neighbor’s front door as well as a video portrait about his or her life, work and hobbies, they finally meet properly and turn from strangers into real neighbors.
