Estonian Broadcaster AS TV3 has announced a new season of Find My Family.
The first AS TV 3 series of the show aired in 2011 and outperformed the
channel average big time, catapulting TV3 to the top ranked channel for
that evening.
Says Külli Loo, production manager at TV3 Estonia: “We’re
happy to be able to produce this wonderful format and at the same time
be of help to people. What we love about the show is that the emotion is
genuine.”
The second series of the show is scheduled to air
as of November 2012. In Find My Family, those in search of long-lost
relatives and friends turn to the program for help. The emotional
journeys take place all over the world. First launched in The
Netherlands 22 years ago, it has since become a major success in
Australia, the US, Spain, Denmark, the UK, Finland, Germany, Sweden,
Belgium, Norway and Poland. In addition to the Estonian series, there
are finished series available of FMF UK (13 episodes) FMF series USA (6 episodes) and Find My Family Australia (43 episodes).
