After a first successful season of Wish You Were Here in The Netherlands, the second series continues to score terrific ratings. The fifth episode of the second series, which aired September 13th in a 9:30 pm timeslot, is the program’s best-scoring episode to date. It was the evening’s best-viewed primetime show, garnering a market share of 21.3% and an average of 1,340,000 viewers.
 
On Wish You Were Here. the presenter follows young men and women whose loved ones come from outside the Netherlands. These young couples have recently decided they want to live together in The Netherlands to start a new brand-new life. Viewers are able to witness the rewarding but difficult process, recorded over a period of six months, of adapting to a new culture and social environment.
