“In "The Singing Office," ex-Spice Girl Melanie "Mel B" Brown (no longer Scary, now Nice) and goofy 'N Sync vet Joey Fatone invade ordinary workplaces to field teams of vocalists to compete in a choreographed sing-off. The show, which premieres Sunday on TLC, is everything I think reality television should be and so often is not: straightforward, down-to-earth, concerned with the corners of a world that, even in extraordinary circumstances, is recognizably one we inhabit ourselves. Its small budget and modest ambitions only increase its appeal. I love it.”

‘Viva Mi Coro – Spain’

Battle of the Choirs aired in Australia, Spain and Estonia

Australia — Last Sunday, the second Battle of the Choirs went on air. It was another successful show! Leonie Lowe (Managing Director of Granada Australia): "It was a very big night of TV in Australia on Sunday. Despite strong competition, the program came 6th in the night overall and the key demographics are still very strong: 607,000 in the 25-54 market. Thank you so much for coming up with such a great format ... we're really enjoying producing such a warm, heartfelt series and all the crew members are loving it!"

Spain — Viva Mi Coro’s first show scored a 15% market share on a 14.2% channel average. The channel is happy; they were the second-best-watched channel in Andalusia on Saturday evening!

Estonia — The Battle of the Choirs show in Estonia completed their first series this June. We are proud to announce that they have commissioned the format for a second series!

Around Christmas, a second series of Battle of the Choirs will be broadcasted in The Netherlands!

Rerun All Stars a hit!

In The Netherlands, the rerun of the International Emmy Award comedy series All Stars is doing great! Once again, the series is a huge hit with scores far above the channel average. It broadcasts on Dutch Channel 3.
At the moment Italy licensed All Stars! The series will be on air in 2009.

All Stars is a black-humor-comedy series that introduces seven friends in their mid-twenties discovering real life. They’re done with fooling around on the soccer field, dreaming about going pro. They find themselves with grown-up problems, forced to make decisions about work and women. All Stars is based on the feature film of the same name; the TV series is shot on location. Winner of the Silver Rose for best sitcom and press prize for most innovative program at the Golden Rose Festival in Montreux in 2000. Winner of an International Emmy Award in 2000!
