Metropolis wins Award for the Most Innovative Project on Public Television!
During the prestigious NPOX Festival in The Netherlands our new and distinctive format METROPOLIS won the Award for the most innovative project on television! This was announced yesterday during the Festival. It is the first NPOX Award ever. Metropolis, a VPRO format, was nominated together with 19 other formats. The unique way of bringing their stories convinced the jury unanimously. Congrats to the VPRO!
During the yearly NPOX Festival, organized by the NPO, the umbrella organisation for all Dutch public broadcasters you can meet producers, journalists, channel managers, researchers, program-makers, lawyers and freelancers mostly working for the public broadcasters. NPOX is all about television making! Its about new formats, broad-, web- and narrowcasting, about channels, interaction and participation, art and culture.
