Blue box is a thrilling and psychological battle between knowledge and ultimate timing. 4 couples, each get 1 of 8 empty boxes, all coloured red. By answering questions, you can fill your box with money. But every time a box carries more money than the others, it will become blue. And the blue box, is the only one that can be won.. But yes, there is a catch. Because if it’s your turn, never answer your first question wrong. Because the blue box is the only game show in history where one mistake makes everything you worked for end up at someone else!
Gameplay is simple. There are only 3 rounds of 12 minutes. Every time the 12 minutes are up, the couple that owns the lowest box will be eliminated. But they may stay if the couple that owns the blue box in that round choses to go home with the money. For each question you can win between 1000 and 10.000 dollars by pressing your money button at just the right time. With every right answer, the money in your box goes up. But remember, if your first answer is wrong, you will lose your turn and all boxes will spin to end up at someone else.
But the blue box is not just about luck, because you can control the game by spinning the boxes yourself. Using the answers you build up. But every box you turn, will cost you one answer. So this is what it comes down to: can you build up enough right answers and use them at exactly the right moment to avoid elimination when the 12 minutes are up.
