Branded Entertainment can offer the best of both worlds. But in an industry grappling with shrinking budgets and crunching credits, it is in everybody’s interests to make it work! (resource: MIPCOM news 2008) In 2009 we completed 8 episodes of Building a Dream, initiated and funded by Uneto-VNI, the Dutch union for employees in the utilities sector. The object of the show is to raise the profile of Uneto-VNI’s members and to make the branch more attractive to work in for younger people. The union believes that Dutch consumers should be made more aware of its members’ work, most of which is hidden behind walls and beneath floorboards. The concept was already proven in 2008 by the Ultimate Living Dream. This years rating are climbing each week.
