In ‘Prime Time Pollution\'2 comedians are looking for answers to their own (weird) questions related to Media. In fact, they have quite some doubts about what they see, hear and read in the media. They discuss what’s caught their attention, what they find difficult to accept, how they would go about it, what really irritates them and what they really like.
What happens when journalists stop nodding a polite ‘yes’ when doing interviews and instead shake their head, ‘no’? Does the man in the street also give his opinion when he’s not asked?
Can TV astrologists predict which difficult questions some of the viewers are going to ask them? What can go completely wrong with a live report during the News? And why isn’t there a reporter on the spot? What’s the result when you combine today’s biggest ratings’ successes?
In contrast to the average media user, the comedians go off in search of the answers to their questions. They allow their intelligent curiosity and their mischievous enthusiasm to guide them. What they don’t understand, they test out themselves. What they want to know they search out for themselves. When possible, they try to simply be themselves, and when necessary, pretend to be a journalist and if there’s no other way, they disguise themselves as a weatherman, TV cook or a star of a musical.
